On May 3 and 4, the Cheshire Food Drive will participate in the Give Local for the Waterbury and Litchfield Hills area. Donations made during those days will not only support our local food voucher program but your donation may serve as the basis for additional donations made by local organizations that weekend. If you are considering giving, please give on May 3 or 4. Of course, your donations are always welcome.

Hosted on May 3-4, 2016 by the Connecticut Community Foundation, Give Local Greater Waterbury & Litchfield Hills is a 36-hour online community giving event that encourages donors to lend their support to the nonprofit organizations that work every day to make our community stronger.

Every dollar donated to participating nonprofits between 7 AM on May 3 and 7 PM on May 4 will be stretched with bonus funds provided by the Connecticut Community Foundation and our generous Give Local sponsors. Nonprofits can also win amazing cash prizes during the event!

Together, the first three Give Local events generated more than $1.9 million for area nonprofits!
